On Jan. 19, Banner showroom hosts NKBA chapter meetingmembers of the Chicago Midwest chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association met at the 15,000-sq.-ft. showroom operated by Banner Plumbing Supply in Buffalo Grove, IL. A standing-room-only crowd attended the evening's presentation on faucet design trends by Judd Lord, director of industrial design at Brizo. The American Institute of Architects announced an agreement with TOTO USA as part of AIA's Strategic Partnership Program. This program is designed to provide unique collaborative opportunities and promotional rights with the AIA to a select group of industry leaders to support AIA's 86,000-plus members. The AIA and TOTO USA have agreed to partner in the thought areas of innovation, technology, sustainable practices and socially sustainable design (the confluence of Green and Universal designs). In addition, AIA staff will work with TOTO USA to develop new knowledge resources, education and cutting-edge industry programs that will benefit AIA members.

Outdoor Shower Co new logoThe Pool Shower has changed its name to Outdoor Shower Co. LLC and unveiled a new logo. The company has been designing and manufacturing outdoor stainless steel showers since 1999. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, these outdoor showers are resilient to harsh environments. Accessories have been added to the units according to customers’ needs and state code requirements. ADA-compliant features are available for public and commercial facilities. Also, standard valves are offered to make the showers more affordable for residential use.

Bazzeo launched its new, more comprehensive Web site at www.bazzeo.com on Jan. 7. The new Web pages feature extensive information on the company's design and manufacturing process as well as the green features of all Bazzeo lines for the kitchen, bath and home. The site will also include background information on the company and its team, press coverage, awards, promotions, events and dealer locations.
